The theme for April will be "OVERCALLS", using the "Cards-on-the-Table" method of learning. In particular, we will look at the Advancer's responses when partner overcalls. Is a new suit forcing to you? Or your partner? What does a cue bid of the Opener's suit mean to you? Or your partner?:
Friday 24 April 9.30-11.30: Overcalls reviewed
Saturday 25 April 10-11.30 ADVANCED: Overcalls after interference and cue bidding.
Monday 27 April 7-9pm: Overcalls – all you need to know.
Tuesday 28 April 2.15-4.30: Overcalls – introduction and consolidation.

A Defence Masterclass will be held on Wednesday 29 April: 9.30-11.30 (Repeated in the evening 7-9pm): 3RD Hand High, or only as high as necessary? And exceptions (of course)! Notes emailed to those who let Cath know they are coming.
